Manuel De Mascarenhas Gaivão (Manager U18 7s) « First of all congratulations to Ireland for winning the competition which was very tight with the 6 top teams at a very close level. A word to all of our 5 opponents during the competition for the good spirit throughout all the matches. I am personally disappointed with the 5 defeats and corresponding 12th and last place in the competition. With the competition shrinking from 16 to 12 teams, we knew we were the underdogs but we wanted to change the fate that everyone expected. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible.
